hah! i usually only use xanga and have tried different blog sites, but found i am too old or something for them; just can't understand how to do anything in them! that was almost the case in here, but i eventually got through the bogmire and have an account i can actually POST on!!!!!
so now i begin a whole new journey into the internet, on a different road.....
for starters, i am experienced in communicating in here, but through my experiences discovered that the internet is not actually a very safe place to give out real life info on me or my family. one of my favorite programs is "To Catch A Predator", which focusses on internet abuse aimed at children. I love the work they do! so glad there are people out there who have the guts to do something like that, instead of sugar coating the use of the internet for under-age young people and children.
the world can be a dangerous place.
i have run into many odd people in here, and have gotten them mad at me for not believing ereything they say.
o well.
i'll take real people to internet people any day of the week, yet i still like to visit in here in hopes of finding the few that are genuine. and i have many times, as well as the fakes.
for the record, i do not use my real name nor my real location. i have several websites i use which i keep seperated from each other in theme and audience, none of which use my real name. while i have met many of the people from the internet in real life, i also keep it in mind that internet faces can present themselves any way they want to in here with no accountability. when i get a chance to meet them in the real world, i can check body language, facial expressions, vocal intonation and consistence to rate them on a "genuine or fake" scale.
there is just nothing like reality checks.

on my site the comments are moderated so if you ever leave a comment just check back later and it should be there. If not just send me an email and I'll check into it. :)
you'll find that with blogger/blogspot and some of these other blog sites you will get alot of spam and odd people leaving really weird stuff in your comments so don't be surprised if you end up having to moderate too. :(
